Dan Bremnes to open for 'Chris Tomlin' and 'Third Day'

I’m pleased to announce that I will be sharing the stage with ‘Chris Tomlin’ and ‘Third Day’ this Saturday night at ‘Wonderjam’ in Toronto, Ontario. Wonderjam is a 1 day Christian music event held at ‘Canada’s Wonderland’ also featuring ‘Hawk Nelson’ and ‘Thousand Foot Krutch’
I can’t even put into words how excited I am to be apart of this event, as well to represent the work of ‘Compassion’ as part of my set.

Dan Claims Grand Prize in 'Christian Song Competition'

I’m pleased to announce I’ve been chosen as the ‘Grand Prize Winner’ of ‘Christian Song Competition’ as well as ‘worship Song’ and ‘Open Song’ winner.
The contest is a worldwide song competition and featured finalists from all over the world in these categories:

New Zealand Bound

We have just recently touched down in Auckland, NZ and prepping for a small acoustic tour before meeting the band in Melbourne, Australia. I’m so excited to be back in this beautiful country. It feels a lot like home, except people talk just a little differently;) Please keep us in prayer as we tour around. We are expecting great things!!

Dan Bremnes & Band are confirmed to be performing @ ‘Easterfest’ 2013 in Toowoomba Australia.
Building on last year’s 20 date tour across Australia, Dan will be heading back down under for another tour of the Country from Feb 23-April 1.
‘This is our second year at Easterfest and we all can’t wait to go back’
Dan was announced on Day 1 of Easterfest’s artist announcements and will be performing along side artists such as ‘Relient K,’ ‘Audio Audrenaline,’ ‘Peter Furler,’ and ‘Sanctus Real’

I’m very excited to announce the release of my brand new ‘EP’ ‘Light My Way’
The EP features 4 brand new songs including ‘Hear Your Voice’ which peaked at #3 Itunes charts in July, 2012 and is also the current Christian Radio ‘single’ in Canada.
It has just hit Itunes and is available for download HERE
This EP is a taste of the full album which is set to drop early 2013.
I’ll be heading to Nashville, TN next week to work with producer ‘Ed Cash’ (Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns) on some of the new material next week.

Dan receives 2 GMA (Covenant Award) Nominations

2012 GMA (Covenant Award) nominations were announced today and I’m honoured to be nominated for 2 awards this year. My newest single ‘Hear Your Voice’ has been nominated for ‘Pop Song Of The Year’ Also in the ‘Male Vocalist Of The Year’ category along with ‘Matt Maher,’ ‘Marc Martel,’ ‘Greg Sczebel,’ and ‘Jon Bauer.’
The awards will take place in Burlington November 7, 2012 at the ‘Crossroads Centre.’
'All Together Worship' with 'Aaron Shust'

Concert with 'Mercy Me'

I’m very pleased to announce myself and the band will be playing with Dove Award winning band ‘Mercy Me‘ this August in Grande Prairie, AB. Mercy Me has won numerous Dove Awards as well as multipe Grammy Award Nominations and is most known for writing the chart topping song ‘I Can Only Imagine‘ I was just at Easterfest in Australia and I happened to catch up with ‘Mercy Me’ to make this very exciting video announcement. Australia Tour Kicks Off

Today myself and the band head off to Australia for 5 weeks on tour. We will be touring from Sydney to Brisbane with around 20 stops including performances at ‘Easterfest’ (Australia’s largest Christian music festival with artists such as ‘Michael W. Compassion International
January 2012
My wife and I, with 12 other artists, will be leaving January 7th with ‘Compassion International’ to Dominican Republic. Please pray for us as we are on this amazing 1 week journey. I will be keeping Facebook and Twitter updated throughout the week!

Trip to Dominican with Compassion

Britt and I just finished up our trip with Compassion to Dominican Republic.
This is our second time to the DR and our second time visiting our sponsor child ‘Wander’
We didn’t know what to expect coming back a second time but it was absolutely amazing. From day 1 we hit the ground running and visited 4 Compassion projects full of laughing children.
